IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE:
SAFETYPAY OFFERS A PAYMENT FACILITATION WHEREIN PAYMENTS MAY BE MADE FROM YOUR OWN FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO MERCHANTS BASED ON YOUR DIRECT AUTHORIZATION (THE “SAFETYPAY PAYMENT SOLUTION”). THE SAFETYPAY PAYMENT SOLUTION IS NOT A CREDIT CARD, BANK ACCOUNT OR A GUARANTY OF PAYMENT OF MERCHANDISE. YOU NEVER NEED TO DIVULGE YOUR PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO A MERCHANT OR SAFETYPAY. (WELLS FARGO AND CHASE CUSTOMERS: SEE SECTION 1 BELOW).
IF YOU DECIDE THAT YOU WANT TO REMOVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDED TO US THROUGH THIS SITE, YOU MUST CONTACT US AND REQUEST THAT SUCH INFORMATION BE REMOVED. HOWEVER, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO PERMANENTLY REMOVE YOUR INFORMATION FROM THE INTERNET AS THE INFORMATION MAY CONTINUE TO EXIST IN CACHED PAGES, ETC.
VISITOR ACCESS TO THIS SITE AND USE OF THE SAFETYPAY PAYMENT SOLUTION (AS HEREINAFTER DEFINED) IS VOID AND UNAUTHORIZED WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION.
Although you are not required to provide PII to view or use this Site, certain services that you may request (e.g., customer service inquiries, subscription to SafetyPay newsletters or other marketing information) may require you to provide personal information, such as your name, address, email address, and other contact information. We only use such information necessary to respond to your inquiries and to send you information such as newsletters, publications or other marketing materials that you have indicated you are interested in and have requested.
The SafetyPay Payment Solution
The SafetyPay Payment Solution specifically does not collect the PII of any user. Once you have made your selections on an affiliated merchant’s website and submitted your order by requesting the SafetyPay Payment Solution as your payment option, SafetyPay will direct you to your bank’s online payment service or otherwise provide you with a unique non-identifying number (the “Transaction ID”) which represents the tracking number for your eventual payment, settlement and possible customer service inquiries. To complete a transaction, you will be required to authorize the specific payment using your bank’s online payment system. SafetyPay will only facilitate those payments you authorize through your own financial institution. Authorized funds are transferred from your bank account to an account held by SafetyPay. SafetyPay then uses these funds to make a safe payment to the merchant for which you authorized the payment.
Wells Fargo and Chase Customers:
We may record information about your usage, such as what pages or advertisements are viewed, as well as what promotional items are purchased.
We may share your PII with our agents, representatives, contractors and other service providers so they can provide us with support services such as email origination, support services, customer relationship management services, or order fulfillment.
